OpenAnolis ARM-SIG 2022-6/14日双周会-会议纪要 MPAM议题: * Jame的BPB code 花了一些时间,导致MPAM略有推迟。目前,三个关于 resource control的patch-set已经发出了。另外几个ARM直接相关的patch排在下一步 骤。 * 倚天710的MPAM测试结果的cache溢出问题已经发给ARM做确认。 * James的code,阿里内部正在做测试,预计1-2周会有一个使能报告(其中包括 一个已知的ACP fail)发出。在做完code backport之后,会有一轮更为详细的测试。 目标时间大约是八月中旬,同时了包括对ARM64和x86的相关测试。 飞腾code的Pull Request,还在进展中。 Ampere的机器,正等待寄出。 SVE等项目正等待进一步推进。相关的SVE/NEON加速,包括多媒体(265/264编解码), 加解密,压缩解压,OpenJDK,MySQL,Redis等领域都值得探讨。 Action:宝林在下次会议前,找一下Xutao有关产品定义和客户需求 Tony提到Guodong的ECS和Leizu有weekly的sync。 大家提议以此ARM-SIG为一个导流功能,提出更多需求和动作导向到其他SIG或者team Erik提到ARM kernel的feature中,NTE和BTI security会是一个近期的软件焦点 宝林提到在micro-benchmark的情况下,ARM64的kernel code layout对导致一些性能问 题,同等情况下,x86并无此相关情况。并提到OpenAnolis的pagesize目前为4K,无论 是intel x86还是aarch64.
